Whether you have a business-related or family dispute, finding the right attorney is essential.  At Fullerton & Associates, we understand the legal challenges you face.  We offer experienced legal representation that will allow you to focus on your career and personal life goals while we work diligently to resolve your legal issues.

Family law & Mediation

Family law is a broad term that encompasses many legal issues.  Our firm represents clients in Houston/Harris County and surrounding areas in pre-marital matters as well as issues related to divorce, spousal support, child support, custody, possession and access, termination of parental rights and adoption.

Personal Injury

We have witnessed the tragedy that many individuals and their families face due to unfortunate and unforeseen circumstances resulting from accidents and injuries.  We understand that our clients need aggressive representation and swift resolution to their cases.  Our firm represents clients who have suffered personal injury and/or property damage resulting from auto accidents, motorcycle accidents, bicycle accidents, auto-pedestrian accidents, railroad accidents, and slip and fall accidents, to name a few.  Our experienced staff will handle your case from intake through trial, if necessary.

Immigration

Whether you need to petition for a fiancé, family member or employee, we can help!  Our firm assists our United States citizen clients file petitions for a fiancé, spouse, children, parents and/or siblings to immigrate to the U.S.  We provide the same services to our clients who are lawful permanent residents and desire to petition for a fiancé, spouse or child.  In addition to filing the petition, we assist clients in obtaining work and travel authorization.  Our goal is always to complete and submit the necessary forms and supporting documentation in a manner that is most time- and cost- efficient for you!

Will & Estate Planning

Everyone began adult life with certain aspirations and goals for acquiring assets.  Many people are now well on their way to achieving career goals and acquiring wealth.  However, very few people have a plan (i.e., a will) which states to whom and how those accumulated assets are to be distributed in the event of their death.
We advise our clients regarding the benefits of having a will and provide them with a package that includes additional legal documents that are of great use should they become incapacitated or otherwise unable to handle their health, business, or financial matters on their own.  Our package includes a Will (or codicil, if you only need to make changes to an existing will); (2) a Statutory Durable Power of Attorney (which allows you to designate another person(s) to act on your behalf in the event you are unable to attend your personal, business or financial affairs); (3) a Medical Power of Attorney (by which you designate another person(s) to make healthcare decisions for you should you become unable to make those decisions for yourself); (4) a Directive to Physician or “Living Will” (which lets your doctor know your wishes about medical and life-sustaining treatment if at some time in the future you are unable to make your wishes known because of illness or injury, e.g., if necessary, should you be resuscitated, should you be placed on life support, should you have an amputation, should you have a blood transfusion, etc.); (5) a HIPAA Release (which allows healthcare providers to release your medical information to your designated family members or other individuals and to discuss your medical condition and treatment with those individuals); (6) a Designation for Guardian (i.e., your affidavit which identifies the person whom you designate to serve over your person and/or your estate should you become incapacitated); and (7) a Declaration for the Appointment of Guardian for Children (i.e., your affidavit designating the individual(s) which you wish to have serve as guardian for your child(ren) in the event of your death or incapacity.
